Seth Thomas Peking City Series Model, c. 1885 Having a signed movement with the ST 'Geneve Stops'. The hour hand only makes one complete revolution in 24 hours. In 12 hours, the hour hand on this clock goes from the top to the bottom, generally only six hours on a normal clock. Then from 1 am to 12 midnight, the hour hand travels from the normal six positon to the normal twelve position. It strikes the hour on the half hour also. It is in good running condition, and strikes fine. The clock is 18 inches high with a 7 inch diameter dial. It is missing just a little gesso on the columns. Nice glass in the bottom panel.
