Seth Thomas "Regulator No. 18". Movement, iron back plate, and weight are original and identical to those used in the No. 18's back in the early 1900's. Movement is signed properly, and running. It has Graham dead beat escapement and maintaining power. The rest of the clock is contemporary. The well made walnut case is 54 inches high and is identical in all respects to the originals. The pendulum ball is the only thing that does not look likeSeth Thomas. The 14 inch metal dial was painted professionally and looks likethe originals. Other things on the clock that are copies of originals arethe door lock, door knob, pendulum stick, beat scale, pulley, and the brassdial ring inside the wood bezel. You sure won't go wrong with this clock. You can locate a Seth Thomas bob on EBay or at one of the many clock Regionalsand Chapter Meetings. For comparison look at Ly-Seth Thomas, page 127.
