Seth Thomas "Regulator No. 2", a reissue by Seth Thomas, SN 1699 of4000 made. The label is on the bottom. Beautiful medium oak case is 37inches high, well made to Seth Thomas specifications and standards, and of course the clock is perfect. There is a brass beat scale, pendulum bob, weight, door lock, dial surround, hinges, all identical to the old earlier models. Painted metal dial. 8 day, time only, 1 weight, movement is mounted to an iron back plate. In a few years it will be hard to tell from those made a hundred years before. Ly-Seth Thomas, page 112 shows this reissue, and the movement.
