The walnut case is in excellent condition, although it has a later finish. The dial has been repainted and has a paint loss at 6 oÕclock. The ÓSTÒ hands appear to be original. The large lyre movement is signed and strikes on a cathedral gong. The stenciled glass is a later replacement. The pendulum bob is damaskeened nickel. The case backside shows a date of December, 1885. The movement is clean and retains complete ÓGenevaÒ stops. Ht 22 3/4Ó.

The case is in excellent condition with a recent finish coating added. The original painted dial is in very good condition with several small areas of inpainting. The hands are original. The lyre movement is signed. The nickel pendulum bob is nicely damascened. The stenciled door glass is original. The case back shows a factory date of January, 1883.
