The polished walnut case retains some original finish. The original painted dial is in good condition with a possible finish overcoating. The hands appear original. The cut glass pendulum bob is original with some mirror oxidation in the lower center of the bob. The cathedral gong has been modified and now strikes on a bell attached to the gong. The movement is signed.

The walnut case is in very good condition and retains its original finish but has several small veneer chips along the base. The original painted metal dial is in good condition, although numerals are faded. The minute hand is original. The hour hand may be later. The movement is signed. The door glass is original. The original beveled glass pendulum bob has some discoloration and oxidation to the mirrored surface at the base. A partial Albany, NY retailer’s label on back. Ht 22 1/4″.
