C.1915, Seth Thomas, “Chime Clock No. 255′ chiming choice of Westminster or Whittington on 8 cup bells.
This clock was a gift to Mr. Bachman”s parents in 1916, and shows no evidence of repairs or service. It does still tick and chime, although a bit sluggish. Mahogany case retains original finish, now with crazing and orange peel. I would think that many of you would like to buy a one owner like this and do your own cleaning. Height 9.5′

Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., Sonora “Chime Clock No. 255” 8 bell quarter-chiming 8 day mahogany mantel clock.
this is the smallest of the Sonora Chime clocks, and has unusual Deco-style “S. T.” hands. The silvered dial has minor tarnish, and the original surface has alligatered uniformly. The convex beveled glass is fine. The two movements appear clean and complete, and they tick, strike and chime properly but were not tested long term.
