Jan 2021 – 304 Antique American Clocks Seth Thomas “Empire No. 200” crystal regulator, ca. 1928. The brass on this 9.75-inch crystal regulator has been overcoated with a dulled semi-transparent finish that could be removed, perhaps with a solvent; the brass underneath looks There are four good, beveled glasses; the silvered dial is badly worn but the hands are correct for this model. The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement will run but the strike is not functioning. A project, for sure.

in very good as-found condition. This clock is complete and sound, with original key but has been standing idle on a mantel for a long time. Uses ST no. 48 round movement with spring covers, an American effort to simulate the look of competing French merchandise. Porcelain dial and all 4 beveled glass are excellent. Height 9″
