The brass case has 4 full reeded columns with Corinthian capitals and has been nicely cleaned and polished. The dial and beveled glasses are perfect, plus the hands are original and the pendulum is good. The 8-day movement is clean and strikes on a coiled wire gong. Among the better American crystals. Case: 4 cut glass columns. Much of the original gold finish remains. Convex front with beveled glass all around. Seth Thomas verde finish on base and top. All original. 14″ tall. Works: Seth Thomas 8 day brass with rack and snail striking on gong. Reference: Seth Thomas Clock by Tran Duy Ly Condition: Case: Excellent. Works: excellent, cleaned and lubricated.

in sound but dirty condition. This clock needs a good cleaning. All the brass work needs to polished and the 4 metal columns have lost much of their gold finish. The dial is perfect and the hands are original. This is an attractive bow front case that will respond well to restoration. Height 11″

Condition: the heavily beveled glass is all good. Minor detractions are: has a 2-vail compensating pendulum from a French clock, knob missing from rear door [has screw], one bushing improperly repaired with a screw-on bushing. Dial is perfect.
