C.1855, Seth Thomas, 30 Hour Gilt Column Mantel Clock
in outstanding original condition. I have never seen this model in ash veneer, which this is and absolutely original (looks like golden oak). Original dial with a few minor flakes, and the gold columns have some flakes and dirt. Fantastic original tablet of two lions. Full Plymouth Hollow label with some stain and signed Plymouth Hollow 2-weight movement as well. This is a super clock; broad estimate reflects anticipated interest. Height 25″ $200-500

C.1860, Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn. 30-hour column clock.
The mahogany case has been very nicely refinished. The original dial has a little paint loss around the mounting tabs, and one scratch near 7. The movement is signed. The gilt columns show signs of wear and age. The tablet is fabulous with some minor flaking of the red border and on the bird’s breast. Label dark but legible. Height 25″

the mahogany case in excellent original condition with lightly crazed finish. Original dial has very small flakes scattered throughout. Hands, Mt. Vernon tablet and gold leafed columns are original. Good label on case bottom. A nice example of this “Roaring 20’s” model. Height 14 inches

The rosewood veneered case has several veneer losses including on the upper and lower moldings and both sides of the upper door. The painted dial is in very good condition with very limited flaking. Original gilt on columns. The hands are original. Both tablets are original and by William B. Fenn. Ht 32 1/2 “.
