the old dome is a bit too deep for the base, but still is without other flaws and keeps the dust out. Porcelain dial is perfect. Hands are replaced (should be pierced spades). Pendulum is a proper replacement. Base and stand OK Overall a pretty good example of this model. Overall Ht with dome and base = 11Ó

The turned wood base has dull old gold over painting in some areas, but the black paint mostly is original. The signed white enamel dial has a major repair at the IX. Hands and pendulum are original. The oval dome is good. The movement is correctly signed, and it ticks and strikes but was not tested long term. Ht with dome 11Ó

except for the replaced oval glass dome which is too tall, this scarce clock is in very good original condition with just minor paint and gold losses on the wood base. There are very small chips around the winding holes of the white porcelain dial. French style movement is numbered 24899, same number on pendulum. Ht without dome 10″

Condition: Painted wood base is very nice with an original finish. Candlestick base has some minor chips in the black painted areas and some wear to the gilding, but is in overall quite nice condition for its age. Original porcelain dial is chipped a little around the winding arbors. Hands are original. Serial number on the movement and pendulum match. Glass dome is later and does not quite fit the base. Ht 9.75″ [24.7 cm]
