This mahogany case has a few bumps and scrapes, and the latch for the bezel is not holding. We will be so brave as to quote only one sentence from the 1939 ST catalog: “With graceful sweeping contour and wavelike base molding, all enlivened with ship’s wheel spokes and sash in brigHeight polished brass, the Stellar will inject a nautical tang into any furnishing scheme.” If that ad writer is still alive, we have a job for him!
