Condition: Gold plated case is in very nice condition with a fair amount of the plating intact. Silvered dial with raised numbers is in good condition with tarnish and some scratches. Hands are original. Beveled glass panel on the rear door is chipped on one corner. The rest of the panels are fine. One of the glass tubes in the faux mercury pendulum is cracked, but replacements are available from Timesavers. An unusual model, hard to find. Height 10.25 inches

Catalog Description: C.1920, Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn, Crystal Doric No. 1, 8-day time/strike crystal regulator, unusual round top model . Condition: Gilded case has general wear and tarnish, but is in otherwise nice condition. Beveled glass panels are perfect and hands are original. One of the pillar screws is replaced. Premium silvered dial is good with raised bronze numerals, and with some scratches in a couple of places and around the winding arbors. This clock sold new in 1913 for $60, compared to a flat top model with silver dial for $30. Movement is properly signed. Ht 11″ [28cm]

Catalog Description: Seth Thomas Oak Cottage Clock The model is called ‘Country Cottage’. The original label is inside the case. The case is solid oak and is quite heavy weighing 8 pounds. It is in very good condition with only minor wear. The bezel and face are original to the clock and in great condition. It has a new exact replacement movement, which is an 8-day bim-bam time and strike. It chimes on the half hour and counts the hour. The clock stands 14 inches high, 10 inches wide and 5 inches deep.
