Condition: Gilded case has general wear and tarnish, but is in otherwise nice condition. Beveled glass panels are perfect and hands are original. One of the pillar screws is replaced. Premium silvered dial is good with raised bronze numerals, and with some scratches in a couple of places and around the winding arbors. The bezel and face are original to the clock and in great condition. It has a new exact replacement movement, which is an 8-day bim-bam time and strike. It chimes on the half hour and counts the hour. The clock stands 14 inches high, 10 inches wide and 5 inches deep.

Since both glasses have been out of the door, and they are both in above average condition I must speculate they could be replacements, although he could have removed them when he restored the clock. He was an excellent mechanic but did not have the painters touch. The clock does not look bad on the shelf. Very nice 15.5″ high mahogany veneered case with the original dark finish, has the usual corner and edge nicks, but is certainly acceptable. With a little effort it could be a very nice shelf clock.
