    Catalog Description: Seth Thomas Novelty Clock, “Lodge”, ca 1892. Gold gilt front, nickel plated metal case throughout. Glass in the sides. 1 day lever movement, time and alarm. 3 inch dial with ST logo, seconds and alarm dials. Complete with few negatives; a couple of hands not original, alarm works, but not shutting off properly, movement runs, but could use a bath and some oil. A pretty good example of this early novelty. Ly-Seth Thomas No.1317.

    Catalog Description: Seth Thomas “Lodge”, ca 1892. 7 inch metal case, gold gilt on the front, brass back, nickel otherwise. Glass windows in sides and over the good signed dial. There are seconds and alarm subsidiary dials. 1 day movement, alarms on a nickel bell on the base. Runs and quits, means it needs servicing. There is one wind key from an E.N. Welch clock.     Catalog Description: C.1904, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Lodge”, 30-hour lever movement novelty alarm timepiece. Condition: Nickel plated metal case is in good condition with wear to the plating and some damage to base molding and the right front foot, some shingles on roof slightly bent. Original paper dial is pretty clean with some minor staining. Hands are original. Threaded winding key to the time side is missing; movement is otherwise complete. Alarm bell is a replacement. Height 7.5 inches

    Catalog Description: C.1900, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Lodge”, 30-hour lever movement novelty alarm timepiece. Condition: Nickel plated metal case is in good condition with wear to the plating and some damage to the right front foot, and the metal molding above. Original paper dial is soiled in a couple of places. Hour hand is a replacement and seconds bit is missing. Alarm bell is inside the case and needs a standard and screw. Movement is complete with both keys and ticking. Height 7.5 inches

    Catalog Description: C.1892, Seth Thomas, LODGE, stamped metal novelty clock in the shape of a log cabin. This is a 1-day, time and alarm model and in good condition. There is minor discoloration of the original dial along the lower margin, and the minute hand has been changed (looks OK). The tinned steel case has a gilt front and nickel plated sides. If you look on Lindy Larson’s website, you will see he has a German copy (probably Junghans) that is a dead ringer for this clock. Height 7 inches

    Catalog Description: C.1909, Seth Thomas Clock Co”., “18 Inch Lobby”, 15-day wall timepiece in oak. Condition: the case is in excellent condition with original finish. The original painted dial is excellent with a little fading of the numerals . The hands and case hardware are original. There are minor imperfections with case, commensurate with age, but overall a very nice original example of this model. The case has been nicely cleaned with cotton kleanser and waxed. At the Syracuse regional in August, one of these in Cherry sold 3 times during the mart, ending up at 5000+ dollars. Height 38 inches

    Catalog Description: C.1896, Seth Thomas “Lobby, 18 Inch”, less bottom, in oak, 15 day pendulum movement. Condition: This clock is in need of restoration, as the entire bottom skirt, splat and columns are missing. the dial is flaking, but can probably be saved with professional attention. In any case, good examples of this model have been selling for 4500 dollars, so our estimate should allow for restoration. See also lot 387, with internet foto of base so you can plan new bottom.     Catalog Description: C.1890, Seth Thomas, 14-inch Lobby clock in oak, 15-day, double spring time only. Condition: the case is excellent, having been attractively refinished. The dial is original and in excellent condition with the exception of a small U-shaped scratch near the top right side. The movement has been professionally cleaned and when would fully, will run a month (a testimony to Seth Thomas workmanship). The pendulum bob and stick are original. Ht: 30inches

    Catalog Description: C.1890, Seth Thomas LOBBY – 14 INCH, finished in old oak, 15-Day double spring time. Condition: Overall very good to excellent; the only thing that keeps this from being outstanding is some lifting of the veneer along the bottom edge of the door (none is missing). Original dial with ST logo is excellent, and original finish on the case is nicely crazed with wonderful patina. For reference on this model, see Tran Duy Ly’s book titled Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements, third edition, Volume 1, page 342. Height 30.5 inches
