It is in need of restoration or useful for parts. The previous owner took the clock apart to work on it, never did and the parts were lost. It is missing the top ornament, cathedral gong, the hands, key and pendulum plus the bolts that hold the top and base together. On the plus side, all 4 beveled glasses are perfect as is the colorful signed porcelain dial. 12″ tall.

Condition: this clock came out of a home in Springfield, and the maid must have polished it every day, as the gilding is totally gone from the case, and it has turned dark brown. The porcelain dial and pendulum are nice. Movement ticks and strikes, but is dirty and will require cleaning before regular operation. Porcelain dial has a single horizontal hairline crack from 7 to 3. For additional information on this model, see Tran Ly’s book on Seth Thomas and Movements, 3rd edition, Volume 1, page 242.
