C.1876, Seth Thomas Sons and Co., No. 8011, Angel and Child figural clock
in very good original condition. Except for a couple of chips in the dial and an incorrect minute hand, this clock would be outstanding. The case is the nicest I’ve seen, with original bronze finish in superior condition. It does run and strike, and is a very good example of this hard to find model. Height 17″ $450-650

Seth Thomas & Sons statue clock, “No. 8011”, ca 1876.
Angel and Child. A lot of old gilt finish on the metal case. Typical French style movement copied by Seth Thomas, 8 day, striking on a bell, on the half hour, also like the French movements. Heavy beveled glass in the cast bezel, porcelain dial has repairs around the time side arbor. Signed movement, outside count wheel, running. No back metal cover but has the correct pendulum. A little damage on the back where it rests on the mantle, you must inspect closely, from the back. The clock is 16 1/2 inches high. Ly-American, Volume2, No.847.

Seth Thomas Sons & Co., New York, NY, “No. 8011” statue clock with a 15 day spring driven time and strike movement in a cast metal case.
The case retains some of its original finish. The raised hand of the woman is missing one finger, The signed porcelain dial is in excellent condition with very minor loss at the winding holes. The hands are original. The movement is signed, Overall a nice example of this model.

Condition: Cast metal case has been expertly restored to a French bronze finish. Original porcelain dial is perfect with a little wear to the number 7. Movement is properly signed, clean and runs. Back access door maybe a replacement. Ht 17″ [35.2 cm]
