This is the older slightly smaller version of this city-clock model, and it is in very nice restored condition. The case is refinished, the dial has new paper on a painted metal plate, and the gold trim probably has been repainted. The tablet is colorful and original, the inside label is good, and the Plymouth movement has had recent service. Ht 15 1/2″

Condition – Rosewood veneered case is in nice condition with original finish that is waxed and touched up in places. Gilded moldings on the case are now gold painted. Dial pan is now papered over with a poor replacement (could still be painted). There is some flaking on the original tablet. Most of the original label is missing. The movement is properly signed. Height 15.5 inches

condition with an original finish. Dial has had an average repaint, looks OK. The glasses are original. The hands have been replaced. The gilt molding surrounding the door is worn to gesso. This model was revised in 1879; see Ly’s 3rd edition of Seth Thomas Clocks, page 211. Height 15.5 inches
