  • Antique Seth Thomas “One Day Lever” Model Clock

    Antique Seth Thomas

Catalog Description: C.1880, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “One Day Lever” 30-hour time/strike gallery clock in excellent original condition. The rosewood veneer is in good condition for this style of clock, as many of these gallery clocks have serious veneer problems. There is a small veneer piece missing on the flat edge along the bottom and a minor chip on one corner. The original dial is excellent, with only a little paint loss around the winding holes. The clock has a super label on the back. The nicest example of this model we’ve seen in a long while. Height 13″

  • Antique Seth Thomas “Parlor Calendar No. 9” Model Clock

    Antique Seth Thomas

Catalog Description: C.1886, Seth Thomas, “Parlor Calendar No. 9″ shelf clock in outstanding condition, with restoration. The dials have been professionally refinished by the Dial House. This model is of walnut, with fancy burled veneers on front surfaces of the door, top and side trim. Moreover this is just about as wild as Seth Thomas designers got in their effort to capture part of the high Victorian walnut accessory market. This model is illustrated in Ly’s yellow calendar book, pages 261-62, and his 1997 value was $3500. Both glasses are old; wonderful label. This clock and the next were owned by George Tardiff for many years. Height 29”
