  • Antique Seth Thomas “Regulator No. 6” Model Clock

    Antique Seth Thomas

Catalog Description: C.1884, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Regulator No. 6.” This is a fine original example in cherry. There are minor age cracks on the door at the top and bottom. The dial is perfect, perhaps the best Seth Thomas we’ve seen (they are known for flaking) along with the original hands, pendulum (with damascene pattern) and weight. Except for minor veneer problems on the bottom bracket, it would be an outstanding clock. Height 49 inches

  • Antique Seth Thomas “Regulator No. 7” Model Clock

    Antique Seth Thomas

Catalog Description: C.1905, Seth Thomas, “Regulator No. 7″ wall clock (short version) in excellent original condition. This is an interesting clock, in that it has an 80 beat movement on which the pendulum rides around 4″ off the bottom of the case, which to me makes it a more pleasant appearing clock than the regular 72 beat movement, on which the view of the pendulum is restricted behind the door. The movement is original to the case and there are no spare holes for any of the hardware; movement appears similar to that used in a No. 2. The beat scale has always been mounted in the high spot it occupies. The case retains original finish, nicely polished; the dial has been professionally re-blacked over the original white surface (has nice crazing), and with original hands, pendulum, hardware, etc. Height 45”

Catalog Description: The ‘RIO’ by Seth Thomas-8-day wall clock with calendar. Here it is folks-the “last” of the Seth Thomas “RIO’s”!!! Out of the collection that has made available five Seth Thomas “RIO” wall clocks, this is the final one that we will be able to offer from that source. The case has been given an attractive ebony laquered finish. The painted dial is clean and attractive. I’ll keep looking for “RIOs” because they always appeal to our customers. • Antique Seth Thomas “Seattle” Model Clock

    Antique Seth Thomas

Catalog Description: Seth Thomas “Seattle”, Ca 1890, on of the “City Series” made by Seth Thomas over a period of 30 years. There is a factory date stamp on the back “1891”. ST made well over 100 different City Series models and I tried to get one of each. I gave up about 10 years ago and sold them all. This model is one I had trouble finding at that time. They aren’t many out there. This is a walnut case, about 22″ high, never cleaned, and retains the original finish, glass, dial, label, and pendulum. The nickel bob matches the nickel leader, nickel bezel and dial ring. It is 8 day, strikes a coil gong, and is running up a storm. This is about as good as it gets for originality.
