    Catalog Description: C.1894, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “JUPITER”, 2-weight, 8-day wall clock in oak, rolling moon dial with bell strike. Condition: the case has been nicely refinished and top left finial replaced, and door glass re-newed. The lyre frame movement is clean and in good running order. The rolling moon retains excellent original paint. The dial is also original, but with wear at the attaching holes, other scratches and wear to the chapter ring from setting the time carelessly. Hands are original, but minute hand has been repaired. Pendulum stick has also been repaired. For reference, see Tran Duy Ly’s book on Seth Thomas, 3rd Edition, pages 318-19. Ly 2004 price guide, ref 1003, is $8000. An uncommon clock in excellent condition, with only minor restoration. Ht 59″, [150cm]

    Catalog Description: Seth Thomas mantle clock, “La Fleur”, ca 1909. This poplar metal clock has a rich gold finish that is practically all still intact and pretty bright not to have been cleaned at all. The case is 14 inches tall, original back door and American sash with beveled glass. The hinge is being held with a finishing nail which works fine and not noticeable but you may want to change. Very nice one piece porcelain dial, painted garland of flowers, signed, Arabic numerals marked boldly, minute marked on an outside ring. 8 day movement is their round plate, No. 3 15/16, signed by ST, striking a standing gong, running with a correct pendulum.     Catalog Description: C.1886, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Lincoln V.P.” 8-day 2-weight shelf clock in walnut. This is a beautiful example in nice condition. Everything about this clock is excellent with original hands, damascene pendulum, and nickel weights. The outer dial is original and excellent; the center with logo is properly replaced. This example has a pediment top that was probably added at the time of purchase, as the finish is the same. It is easily removed with 2 screws for those purists who dislike it. Good looking clock. Height 28 inches

    Catalog Description: C.1890, Seth Thomas LOBBY – 14 INCH, finished in old oak, 15-Day double spring time. Condition: Overall very good to excellent; the only thing that keeps this from being outstanding is some lifting of the veneer along the bottom edge of the door (none is missing). Original dial with ST logo is excellent, and original finish on the case is nicely crazed with wonderful patina.     Catalog Description: C.1886, Seth Thomas, MARCY in very good to excellent original condition; strikes the quarters on 2 cupped bells and the hours on a cathedral gong. We have had 4 of these clocks over the past 25 years, and this is the nicest we have had. It is a one owner clock that was shipped to us from the UK. The original dial is remarkable, with the name of the retailer: R. SALSBURY and SONS, GUILDFORD. The oak veneer retains original golden finish with some minor nicks and scrapes, commensurate with age. Retains good interior label.     Catalog Description: Seth Thomas “Nashville”, ca 1879, one of the City Series. 8 day, strikes a nickel bell. Good ST nickel pendulum with bronze attachment that says, “STC Co”. This clock has an added feature that ST overlooked in the design process; a third hole was drilled in the dial board so you can see to hook the pendulum. What an innovation. The label is all but worn from the base.16 inch walnut veneer case, probably never cleaned, very good veneer except a couple of small slivers off the base. Ly-Seth Thomas No.210.
