Catalog Description: Seth Thomas mantle clock, “Lincoln. V.P.”, ca 1886, this particular clock was made in 1892 according to the factory stamp on the back of the clock. I am sure you know that the V.P. stands for Visible Pendulum. The movementused in this model was the 8 day, weight, their number “14-1/2”, strikingonly the hours, on a Cathedral Bell. Pendulum ball, dial rings, gong, beatscale, and large weights, are all brass. Oak case is 27 inches high, stillwith original finish. Some flaking of the dial which is typical for SethThomas dials. This is another clock from the collection of “all original”clocks.

Catalog Description: C.1904, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Lodge”, 30-hour lever movement novelty alarm timepiece. Condition: Nickel plated metal case is in good condition with wear to the plating and some damage to base molding and the right front foot, some shingles on roof slightly bent. Original paper dial is pretty clean with some minor staining. Hands are original. Threaded winding key to the time side is missing; movement is otherwise complete. Alarm bell is a replacement. Height 7.5 inches

Catalog Description: C.1905, Seth Thomas Clock Co., No. 1 Marble Dial Clock , in good original condition. The clock has a fifteen-day double wind spring movement with dead beat escapement. Other than some roughness and couple small chips around the circumference, the marble is in nice condition, with no cracks and good coloring. Condition: Mahogany case with brass trim is in pretty nice condition with original finish that will need to be cleaned. Brass case is tarnished + some paint spilled on, and will need attention. There is some minor loss of enamel on the case, but it should polish up nicely. Retains original embossed and gilded dial, numerals a little worn but can be touched up easily on this type of dial. Condition: Dark bronze finished case is in fair to good condition, some of the finish worn to metal, the deer at bottom has lost one antler, the second barely holding, rear dust cover is lacking. Catalog Description: C.1866, Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., “Octagon Top” 30-hour time/alarm rosewood veneer cottage clock in fair to good condition. The veneer on the bottom is chipped and missing in places. The case has also lost its veneer on the sides and is now down to the pine base. The original painted dial is in good condition with some chips and repairs. Both glasses are original. The label is very clean. Old hands are Waterbury, but replacements are available. The rear with a legible repair label from Sandusky City, Ohio, dated Apr 30, 1880, V. Nosley, 75 cents. The movement is a model 1C-C, developed in 1852 (see O. Burt’s Bulletin supplement) Height 9 inches

Condition: Rosewood veneered case is in nice condition with an original finish. There is an age crack in the door just below 6 o’clock. Tablet has been there a long while, but not original motif.
