Catalog Description: C.1855, Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hollow, COTTAGE E, 1-Day, time and alarm mini cottage clock, mahogany. Condition: the veneer on the base has a chunk missing on left side and other minor chips. Finish is original on the case, and with super Plymouth Hollow label inside. Top glass with a small chip, bottom geometric tablet is original and excellent. This clock has a C type movement, clean and running. Model letters are those used in Tran Ly’s latest, 3rd edition Seth Thomas book, Volume 1. Height 9 inches

Catalog Description: C.1913, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Crystal Gothic No. 0”, 15-day time and gong strike crystal regulator. Condition: Gold plated case is in very nice condition with a fair amount of the plating intact. Silvered dial with raised numbers is in good condition with tarnish and some scratches. Hands are original. Beveled glass panel on the rear door is chipped on one corner. The rest of the panels are fine. One of the glass tubes in the faux mercury pendulum is cracked, but replacements are available from Timesavers. An unusual model, hard to find. Height 10.25 inches

Catalog Description: C.1924, Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Drop Octagon 10 Inch”, 8-day wall timepiece (mixed lot). Condition: Refinished oak in very nice clean condition. Original painted dial is clean with a little wear to some of the numbers and the chapter ring. Hands are original. Movement is not original to the case, even though it was made by Seth Thomas in 1941, and it lines up with the dial OK. ST pendulum, but there is no suspension wire. Height 21.5 inches [54.61 cm]

There are some minor gouges along the edge of the case (barely visible), and the dial pan has come loose from the bezel at 1 o”clock. Catalog Description: Seth Thomas shelf clock, “Eclipse” or Balltop, ca 1900. Another fine example of the Balltop, may be the better of the ones in this catalog, it is less crusty. It is a nice mellow brown walnut, with original glass, pendulum, dial and full label inside the case. Strikes half hours and alarms on a bell. The top has a wood split behind the cross piece of wood molding, can’t see the split from the front. 8 day movement is running. Ly-Seth Thomas, page 479.

The lion itself has been regilded. Movement is clean and running and with good porcelain dial with fancy floral decorations, and with the script signature of Seth Thomas. The porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. One of beveled side glass panels has some chips on one edge, while the other three are perfect. The movement is signed. The movement has been professionally cleaned and the clock is in good running order. Height 11.5 inches
