Catalog Description: Seth Thomas wall clock, “Queen Anne”, C. 1902. Original, unrestored walnut case is 36″ high. Outside of case is clean but has darkened over time; the inside is showing the beautiful walnut grain on the backboard, dial board, inside of the door, etc. Full black label on the base, correct brass bob, very nice signed original dial, and paint on zinc. This is an 8 day; time only movement, and running. An excellent original clock that came out of a Lexington, Ky. home. It had been with the same family since the early 1900’s. Ly-Seth Thomas #485.

Catalog Description: C.1902 Seth Thomas Clock Co., “Queen Anne”, 8-day oak time and strike wall clock (stained dark walnut). Condition: This clock had a hard life, lost its door and bottom which have been newly made by a fellow who had only a drawing to look at and did not know the proper 3rd dimension (technically competent, but totally incorrect). Also dial mask is new and dial repainted. Gong standard intact; gong in bottom of case. Hands are new and incorrect for this model. Still has decorative appeal; would be 1000 dollars if correct. Catalog Description: C.1900, Seth Thomas, “QUEEN ANNE”, in oak and in very good original condition. The only items that keep this from being excellent are the damascening mostly rubbed off the pendulum and a couple of minor losses on the case. The dial and hands are original and the 8-day time only movement is clean and the clock seems to tick fine. Note the time only was not offered with a seconds hand. Catalog Description: C.1895, Seth Thomas Clock Co., Queen Anne, 8-day time/strike wall clock, case incomplete. The walnut case is in good condition with original finish, however, the clock must have fallen at one time and damaged the lower bracket, which is now missing, but the bottom trim molding was saved and placed back on the case. This clock was originally exported to England and the painted dial is signed “Barry and Sons, Cardiff”. The clock has a beautiful nickel-plated damascened pendulum. This example has an early wooden beat indicator. There is a very nice label in the bottom of the case. If this clock had retained its original bracket it would have been worth $1,000 and the estimate reflects the condition. Height 31.75″ $500-$700

Catalog Description: C.1885, Seth Thomas, Queen Anne, 8-day wall regulator timepiece in oak. Condition: the case has been refinished to a light golden color. The original dial is weak, some of the numerals rubbed off, and with a large flake by 11. The time only movement is original to the case. Retains fancy nickel plated damascene pendulum and nickel bezel around dial. The striking model is worth $2000. For reference, see Tran Ly’s 3rd edition Seth Thomas book, page 326.
